Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Assistly collects through this website (assistly.com.ng), how it's used, and what choices you have. It does not cover the AI systems we build for clients — those run on each client's own tools and are governed by that client's own privacy practices, not by Assistly directly.
1. What we collect
This site is intentionally simple. The only information it actively collects is what you choose to give us:
- Your name — if you use the "Book a call" button, we ask for your name before opening WhatsApp with a pre-filled message.
- Anything you send us on WhatsApp — once the conversation moves to WhatsApp, that exchange is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one. We don't control how WhatsApp (Meta) handles that data on its platform.
We do not run analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies on this site. The one external request this page makes is to Google Fonts, which loads our typefaces — this involves your browser contacting Google's servers directly, which may log standard technical data like your IP address, per Google's own policies.
2. How we use it
The name you provide is used solely to personalize the WhatsApp message that opens on your device — it is not stored on our servers, added to a mailing list, or shared with third parties. Once your message reaches WhatsApp, we handle the resulting conversation the same way any business would handle its WhatsApp inbox.
3. If you become a client
If you engage Assistly's services, the AI systems we design and build for you connect to your own WhatsApp, email, or CRM accounts — not ours. Your customers' data stays inside the tools you already use and control. We may temporarily need access to configure these integrations during setup, and that access is scoped to what's needed for the build and can be revoked by you at any time. Specific data-handling terms for your engagement are covered in your service agreement, not this page.
4. Data retention
Since we don't store visitor information beyond the moment your WhatsApp message is generated, there's nothing on this site for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Any conversation history lives in WhatsApp itself, subject to your own WhatsApp settings.
5. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) and its regulations, you have the right to know what data is held about you, request corrections, and request deletion where applicable. Given how little this site itself collects, most such requests will point you to WhatsApp's own data controls — but if you have any question about what we hold, message us and we'll respond directly.
6. Changes to this policy
We'll update this page if how the site collects or handles information changes, and update the date at the top when we do.
7. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent directly via the "Book a call" button above, or through WhatsApp.
